Matucana sweet peas have an enchanting and intoxicating scent that will literally fill any room they are in.
Easy to grow, the vines love to climb and look beautiful trellised up a wall or along side a door so as to whaft their fregrance to those passing by.
Having been thought as being introduced in the 1700's by a Sicilian Monk by the name of Franciscus Cupani, these Italian flowers are like growing history, and mature into bi-coloured violet and deep maroon blossems that grow even more persistantly as they are harvested for the kitchen counter, dinning table, or any special space in need of a comforting and refreshing aroma.
