Tallow Bomb is wonderful for all manner of skin conditions including dry, chapped, calloused, cracked and sun-damaged skin, rashes, burning, itching, wrinkles, eczema, dermatitis and the list goes on. It can even be used as a soothing aftershave!
Tallow Bomb is made using three simple, yet powerfully nourishing ingredients: our own Grass-fed Beef Tallow, a touch of our own Beeswax from our family beehives, and Lavender Essential Oil. This balm is an original recipe made by Amberlin in small batches on the Biegel family farm.
Grass-fed allow is a traditional product that boasts many incredible uses ranging from cooking, candle making, soap making and more. Some things that Grass-fed Tallow is rich in are: antioxidants, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins A, E, D, K, niacin, selenium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and riboflavin. Tallow gives the skin the nutrients it needs to heal itself.

Tallow Bomb: an All-Purpose Balm
Grass-fed Beef Tallow: Grass-fed Tallow is ultra rich in the same kinds of lipids that are found naturally in youthful, healthy looking skin. Grass-fed tallow also contains fat-soluble Vitamins A, D, E & K and Vitamin B12. It is intrinsically balanced by nature, with no further improvement or enrichment needed. These properties, including Triglycerides, which allow for the easy absorption of nutrients, as well as antioxidants, provide the key elements we need to maintain healthy, sturdy, cell integrity and tone. The fatty acids in pure grass-fed tallow are similar in molecular structure and composition to those found in the protective outer layer of human skin and in naturally produced skin oils (sebum). This makes grass fed tallow highly skin compatible, allowing it to absorb easily into the skin to improve the protective barrier function of the skin, prevent moisture loss and regenerate the appearance of healthy, youthful looking skin.
Beeswax: The Beeswax used in our Meadow Balm is harvested from our family beehives.
Beeswax is incredibly nourishing for the skin! It helps to nourish and moisturize rough, chapped, dry skin; and due to its strong antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and high vitamin A content (which helps in the production of collagen), it can assist in healing acne, scars, stretch marks, and fungal skin infections.
Lavender Essential Oil: Lavender is a powerful anti-inflammatory. It is great for healing acne, soothing eczema, psoriasis, sunburns and skin funguses. It improves mood, promotes mental clarity and also relaxation. Lavender has powerful antiseptic properties and helps to detoxify, heal, tone, soothe and calm dry, itchy and injured skin (burns, scrapes, wounds, cuts etc.). It relieves stress, headaches, joint and muscle pain, encourages blood circulation and also prevents wrinkles and dark spots! It also encourages hair growth and fights dandruff.
