Gorgeous vines that produce clusters of scarlet blossems that will climb and adorn any structure. Blossems mature and grow into edible beans that are great for fresh eating, freezer or canning preservation. We've still enjoyed harvesting these beans after a light frost, and found them to be even sweeter!
 
The seeds are black and streaked with purple. Grow Scarlet Emperor runner beans up a tall, strong trellis, and it can reach 3m (10') or higher by mid-summer to bring
