Snow Sailing

We've talked about doing this for years, but the other day Charles finally decided that it was time to take action! We hunted down some old tarps, found some rope and baler twine, grabbed a couple sleds or put on some skis, and off we all went!

The winds were gusting from 50-70km which was perfect.

Charles could not've smiled bigger after his first ride!

ree

Papa came and picked us up with the Argo. As always, Papa is ecstatic when he sees all of us having a blast!

ree

Julia, on the skis as well, just spread her arms and let the wind push her all the way down the hill! Linnae tried the snowboard but didn't get as far...

There were a number of tumbles... all part of the fun!

Snow much fun! Thankfully the temperature was just below zero, although the wind was very chilling.

And the LORD said in his heart... While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest,

and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Genesis 8:21-22

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the LORD.

Psalm 116:12-13

Last year we had high winds one day and our boys did the exact same thing but just in the grass! :-) One of them actually went airborne! So neat! Thanks for sharing!
